A booking link for your Instagram bio

For a lot of detailers, Instagram is the shop window. People see a before-and-after reel, tap your profile, and then... send a DM. “How much?” “When are you free?” Twenty minutes later, maybe a booking.

A booking link in your bio lets them skip that and book straight from your profile. Here’s how to set one up and get people to actually use it.

What makes a good booking link

Before it goes in your bio, check that your link:

  • Opens fast on a phone. Almost everyone will tap it from inside Instagram.
  • Shows your services and prices. So they don't have to DM to ask.
  • Shows real open times. Not “message me for availability.”
  • Takes a deposit if you need one. So the booking is real.
  • Has your business name on it. So it doesn't feel like a random site.

Add it to your bio

Add it under Edit profile → Links and give it a title like “Book a detail.”

Switch to a professional (business or creator) account if you haven't yet. You get contact buttons and insights on which posts bring people to your profile.

Then tell people the link is there. Your bio text should say what to do:

“Interior, correction and coating in [your city]. Book below 👇”

Use it in posts and reels

Instagram doesn't make captions clickable, so point people to your bio:

  • End captions with “Booking link in bio.”
  • On before-and-after posts, name the service: “This was our full interior. Book it from the link in bio.”
  • Pin your best before-and-after posts to the top of your profile, so new visitors see your work first.

Use it in stories

Stories let you add a tappable Link sticker.

  • Post your open slots: “Two spots left this Saturday,” with the link sticker.
  • Share a finished car and add the link.
  • Keep it short. One clear call to action per story.

Save it in highlights

Stories disappear after a day; highlights don't. Make a highlight called “Book” or “Prices” with:

  • Your services and prices
  • How deposits work, if you take them
  • A story with the link sticker

That's your always-on booking menu.

Reply to DMs with the link

You'll still get messages. Instead of typing out prices and times, send the link.

Save it as a quick reply in Instagram, so it's two taps away:

“Thanks for reaching out! You can see prices for your vehicle and grab an open time here: [your link]. Any questions, just ask.”

One message instead of ten.

Takeaways
  • Make sure your link shows prices and open times and works on a phone.
  • Put it in your bio and tell people it’s there.
  • Point to it from every post, add it to stories with the link sticker, and keep a “Book” highlight.
  • Answer DMs with a saved reply that includes the link.
