01The agreement
These terms are between you and Detailvio. By creating an account or using Detailvio, you agree to them. If you use Detailvio for a business, you’re agreeing on behalf of that business.
02Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, including what your team members do.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
03Plans, trials and billing
- Plans are Free ($0), Solo ($39/month or $390/year) and Shop ($99/month or $990/year), in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.
- New accounts get 14 days of Solo, free, with no card needed. If you don’t choose a paid plan, you move to Free and nothing is deleted.
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.
- You can change plans anytime. Moving down a plan doesn’t delete your data.
- We don’t refund partial months or years. When you cancel, your plan stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
We’ll give you notice before changing prices.
04Payments to your business
Card payments and deposits go through your own Stripe account. Stripe’s terms apply to those payments, and Stripe charges its standard card fees. Detailvio doesn’t take a cut of what you earn.
You’re responsible for your prices, your deposit and cancellation policy, and refunds to your customers. Chargebacks and disputes are between you, your customer and Stripe; Detailvio isn’t a party to them.
05Texts and emails
- Each plan includes a monthly number of texts: 10 on Free, 300 on Solo and 1,000 on Shop. Every text Detailvio sends for you counts.
- If you run out, messages set to text go by email for the rest of the month, when the customer has an email address. Emails are unlimited.
- You must have your customers’ permission to message them and follow Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL). Booking messages should be about bookings, not marketing.
06Your data
You own your data, including your customer list. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Detailvio. Our privacy policy explains how.
You’re responsible for having the right to collect the information you put into Detailvio, including customer photos.
07Acceptable use
Don’t use Detailvio to:
- Break the law or anyone’s rights.
- Send spam or messages people didn’t agree to.
- Try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, or disrupt the service.
- Resell Detailvio without our written permission.
08The service
We work hard to keep Detailvio running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features over time, and we’ll tell you before removing anything important to your plan.
09Cancelling and closing accounts
You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after giving notice where we reasonably can.
10Liability
Detailvio is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost profits, lost bookings or indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
12Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we’ll update the date at the top and email account owners before they take effect.
